Report to: Director, Project Management
Primary responsibilities • Defines project scope and deliverables with the Product Management department
• Works with teams to estimate project duration, cost and resource requirements
• Creates detailed project plans using industry standard methodologies
• Manages day-to-day project activities
• Organizes and runs project meetings
• Reports project status to the rest of the organization
• Manages project dependencies; coordinates activities with business, marketing, development, quality assurance and support/operations
• Responsible for the quality of project deliverables
• Ensures that projects are completed on time and on budget
• Responsible for prioritization decisions within the project
• Manages change requests throughout the life of the project
• Provides leadership, direction and motivation to the project team
Required qualification
• At least five years of experience in the software industry, preferably in a management or development role
• At least three years of experience in project management
• Experiences with Software Development cycle
• Experience with Agile Project Development tools and processes
• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Business
• Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication skill, both oral and written
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining a rigorous attention to detail.
Desired qualification
• Experience with multi platform Desktop application project management
• Experience with large high volume Ecommerce project management
• Mobile project management experience
• Media / Music experience related to active projects managed
